Where are you based?
I am based in Milton Keynes. I offer both in-person counselling at the crown counselling room (at my home in Eagle Farm South) or online counselling via Zoom (I am able to offer therapeutic support online to anyone living in the UK).
How much do you charge for sessions?
My fee is £70 for both in-person and online sessions. Payment is due prior to each booked session.
How long are the sessions and how long do I have to have counselling for?
Sessions last for 50 minutes and is at the same time every week. I work open ended with opportunities to review our work together regularly. Every client is different! Some have been with me for years and others come for a short number of weeks, its about what works for you.
What is your availability like?
I offer sessions during the day in school hours.
Do you offer sessions bi-weekly rather than every week?
I do however I have a limited number of slots I can offer on a bi-weekly basis and I do ask that the first 6 sessions are weekly in order to create some consistency with the therapeutic process.
Can I talk to you before we start sessions?
Yes I offer a free short (10-15 mins) introduction call where we can have a chat about what you are looking for in terms of counselling support and to ensure that I am the right counsellor for your needs! You can book your call here.
Is it confidential?
Yes all sessions are confidential however, if I feel that you or someone else may be at immediate risk of harm or if you share any news of abuse to a minor or vulnerable adult I may need to break confidentiality.

I also see a supervisor to discuss my work but this is also bound by confidentiality.
What happens in the first session?
The first session I call a 'consultation session' this is where i get to know a little more about you and what you've been struggling with the most. You don’t have to share everything, we’ll take it step by step. Think of it as a gentle starting point, not a test you have to pass. I'll also share a little more about how I work and you will have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
I feel silly coming to counselling. Shouldn’t I be able to handle this on my own?
It’s completely normal to feel that way but needing support doesn’t mean you’re weak. Anxiety is not a personal failure; it’s your mind triggering an alarm system which shows theres something that needs attention! Counselling gives you tools and support you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
How long will it take before I start feeling better?
I've tried so many things to make my anxiety go away - will counselling work?
